The Cartier Mansion was built by lumber baron, Warren Cartier, more than 100 years ago and retains its original beauty and charm. The Schoenberger family, influential in Ludington and surrounding areas, called it home for the last 50 years. Purchased by Gary & Sue Ann Schnitker in 2005, the home remains a Bed & Breakfast as it has since 1995. It is within walking distance of Lake Michigan beaches, marinas, restaurants, shops and the car ferry. The stunning dunes of Ludington State Park are just minutes away.

Guest Rooms and Amenities
Five guest rooms are available, ranging from large and spacious to quaint and comfortable. Each room includes a home cooked breakfast with Innkeepers Gary and Sue Ann, hair dryer, 600 plus thread count sheets, down comforters, full compliment of Aveda bath amenities, Ironing Board and Iron, Alarm Clock, DVD players with a selection of complimentary movies, and chocolates. Rates
Cartier Mansion is open year-round, but pricing does fluctuate between seasons as follows:
Summer rates range from $99 to $240 per night.
Spring & Fall rates range from $99 to $215 per night.
Winter rates range from $99 to $200 per night.

Payment Policy
A deposit is required when making reservations. While we would prefer personal checks, Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Because of the limited number of rooms available, Cartier Mansion has a one-week cancellation policy. |
